Rebecca’s Personal Journey with Love and Self-Love
Kicking off DMK's #WithLove campaign, Rebecca Eu's story is one of unexpected beginnings, deep connection, and a love that continues to grow. A newlywed, content creator, jewelry business owner (Rinn), and passionate advocate for empowerment, Rebecca also dedicates her time to Meis Own, a social enterprise that supports women’s shelters and rescue groups in the Philippines.
Rebecca’s journey is a beautiful reminder that love isn’t just about romance — it’s about kindness, community, and making a difference.
As part of DMK’s #WithLove campaign, we sat down with her to talk about marriage, self-love, and the little moments that make love truly meaningful. Her story is equal parts heartfelt, humorous, and inspiring — reminding us that love thrives in authenticity, laughter, and the kindness we show to ourselves and others.
Catfishing "The One"
Rebecca’s love story with her husband, Kin, had an unconventional beginning — she first met him online under the alias "Jenny," unknowingly catfishing the man who would one day become her soulmate. During a challenging time in her life, Kin became her unwavering support, constantly reminding her of her worth and the importance of self-love.
Their journey is a testament to how love can find us in the most unexpected ways and how the right person can help us see the best in ourselves.

Love, Commitment, and the Story Behind the Wedding Ring
Rebecca’s engagement ring is more than just a piece of jewelry — it’s a reflection of their love, shared values, and the beginning of her journey with Rinn. Designed together after Kin’s heartfelt proposal, the ring features a 2.25-carat lab-grown diamond in an old European cut, blending old-world romance with a modern love story. A thoughtful detail: the 2.25 carats symbolize Kin’s birthday — February 25!
Choosing a lab-grown diamond was also a conscious decision for sustainability and affordability, reflecting Rebecca’s thoughtful approach to love and life.
DMK Shoes on Her Wedding Day
When it came to her wedding day, Rebecca knew she wanted her bridesmaids to feel as comfortable as they looked stunning. That’s why she chose DMK shoes for herself and her girls.
Q: We know that you and your bridesmaids wore DMK shoes for your wedding day – could you describe how you came to that decision and how did it make you feel?
"One thing I love about DMK shoes is their cushioning and I know my girls will be running around the entire day. So when it came to picking out bridesmaids' outfits and shoes, I knew I wanted to treat them. Of course, DMK was my first choice because they're so effortlessly comfortable, you can definitely wear them every day."
Rebecca's three-day wedding celebration kicked off with a garden party where she wore the elegant DMK Diana kitten heels, complete with a dainty bow for the perfect touch.
Her bridesmaids wore DMK’s Hopelessly Romantic block heels — cushioned for comfort — to effortlessly conquer wedding duties in style.

The Joys (and Quirks) of Married Life
Married life has been a joyful adventure for Rebecca, filled with little moments that make her heart flutter.
Q: What has surprised you most about married life so far in terms of both the good and the bad?
"There’s a strong sense of security and bond. There's something special about having someone to come home to every day, looking forward to being together, and even now, I still get a little giggly when I say "my husband"."
Of course, marriage isn’t without its quirks. Rebecca humorously admits that getting used to bodily sounds has been an adjustment. But even with the occasional gassy moment, Rebecca cherishes the comfort and connection they share.
"Kin farts a lot, and it's definitely not something I was prepared for!"

Keeping Love Real: Balancing Openness & Intimacy Online
As a content creator, Rebecca embraces a delicate balance between openness and privacy when sharing her relationship online.
Q: As a content creator, how do you balance sharing your relationship without losing its intimacy?
"Honestly, I try to keep my private life quite private, but I’m also an open book. If you ask me something, I’ll probably just tell you — I’ve never been good at keeping a poker face! But I do think it’s important to share human experiences as they are, because marriage isn’t always a bed of roses, and that’s okay. I share parts of my life that I’m proud of, and even the ones I’m not, because if my experiences bring someone joy or give them context, then it’s worth it."
For Rebecca, authenticity is key — she shares what feels right, knowing that the most special parts of love often exist beyond the screen.

28 Days, Infinite Chances: Choosing Self-Love Over Self-Doubt
Q: What does love and self-love mean to you in the context of empowerment?
"When it comes to love with a partner, I think it’s about patience, forgiveness, and kindness. Choose love without holding grudges, without keeping score, but still holding yourself accountable."
Self-love, to Rebecca, follows the same principle. She recalls a TikTok trend where people were reminded to speak to themselves with the same kindness they would offer to their younger selves. "If you wouldn’t say something to the little girl you once were, don’t say it to yourself now."
She also reflects on how growth is constant, just like cellular renewal in skincare — where every 28 days, you’re technically a new person. "That means you always have the power to change, to evolve, to be kinder to yourself."
One of the biggest lessons she’s learned about love? Kindness. "Kin always reminds me that I’m too hard on myself. I try to see myself through his eyes, and that’s a journey in itself. Also… you can’t spell ‘kind’ without ‘Kin.’"
A Valentine’s Message to Women Everywhere
Q: If you could write a Valentine’s card to women everywhere, what would it say?
"Dear you, Happy Valentine’s Day.
Whether you're single, ready to mingle, or deeply in love, I wish you love in all forms—especially the love that fills your own heart. Fall deeply, unconditionally in love with yourself and your life. You are so beautiful when your heart is full.
I hope you’ll share that love with the world, too. Kindness is free and rare, so be kind, always.
Love, Rebecca.
P.S. I also drew you a frog and many hearts. Happy Valentine’s Day!"
Closing Words
Rebecca’s journey is a beautiful reminder that love is not just about grand gestures but about the quiet, everyday moments that shape us. From an unexpected start to a lifelong commitment, her story demonstrates that true love is built on patience, understanding, and kindness — both towards others and ourselves.
As we celebrate this season of love, we’re reminded that love doesn’t always follow a straight path. It’s messy, imperfect, and at times unpredictable, but in its truest form, it’s about connection and empowerment. Whether it’s showing up for your partner in times of need, embracing self-love, or spreading kindness to those around you, Rebecca’s story shows us that love is meant to uplift, inspire, and make us better people.
Wishing you all a heart full of love, compassion, and joy. Happy Valentine’s Day.💖
